The MOPH Fund, Inc. serves as the official fundraising arm of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH), an organization chartered by Congress and composed exclusively of combat-wounded veterans who have received the Purple Heart Medal. Our mission is to honor and support America's combat-wounded veterans and their families by providing essential financial resources for a range of impactful programs. From suicide prevention and mental health support to scholarships, employment training, and disaster relief, the MOPH Fund is dedicated to improving the lives of those who have made profound sacrifices for our country. Suicide Awareness and Prevention

At the MOPH Fund, we are deeply committed to combating the tragic loss of life among our veterans due to suicide. Our Suicide Awareness and Prevention program equips veterans, their families, and communities with the knowledge and tools needed to identify warning signs, offer support, and intervene effectively.
Through specialized training sessions and educational resources, we empower participants to ask the right questions, persuade those in crisis to seek help, and connect them to local mental health services.
Youth Activities

Our Youth Activities program is dedicated to fostering patriotism, leadership, and good citizenship among America’s youth. We recognize outstanding young leaders across the nation through partnerships with ROTC and JROTC programs, as well as other youth organizations like the Young Marines, Civil Air Patrol, and Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Our goal is to cultivate a spirit of service and respect for our nation’s values in the next generation.
By engaging with youth in meaningful activities and leadership development programs, we aim to instill a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by our veterans and inspire a commitment to service in their communities. Through recognition awards, mentorship, and educational initiatives, we help shape young Americans who are not only aware of their civic duties but also prepared to take on leadership roles in the future.

Employment Training

The transition from military to civilian life can be challenging, especially when it comes to finding meaningful employment. Our Employment Training program addresses this challenge head-on by providing veterans and their family members with access to high-demand career training opportunities, such as software development. In partnership with Redding Software Corporation, we offer a one-year training and internship program that equips participants with the technical skills needed to excel in the modern job market.
This program is designed to offer not just training, but also real-world experience, giving veterans a competitive edge in the job market. By prioritizing combat-wounded veterans and members of the MOPH, we ensure that those who have served with distinction have the tools they need to build a stable and successful future in civilian life.
